For his first-ever “Essential New Tune” on BBC Radio 1, Hot Since 82 returns to the remix circuit taking on Rudimental’s “Right Here.” It’s a classic example of Hot Since 82 remix work — swirling bass lines, flickering hi hats, and a underlying mystery and drama that only he has seemed to really lock down. Outside of a basic skeleton of the track, Rudimental’s songwriting is morphed beyond recognition, and once again Mr. Daley Padley has made a remix his own.
