Warehouse Project returns stronger than ever for post-summer UK blowout
Past the golden days of the Hacienda, Manchester’s Warehouse Project has been a solid institution to the North of England and its dotted clubbing legacy. With an open sigh of relief from those further astray from the overstated capital city, Trafford Park Road will once again play host to what has come to stand as the UK’s alternative clubbing season. Launching with an all-star showcase from Axwell, Armand van Helden, Mark Knight and MK on September 27th, the weekly events will run through to New Year’s Day, offering hosted nights from the likes of Steve Angello, Armin Van Buuren, Disclosure, Rudimental, Annie Mac and Richie Hawtin and a host of their industrious peers along the way. With rare and wonderful appearances from Phoenix, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano and a 2013 finale from Nile Rogers alongside Hot Chip, there is quite literally something for every possible taste on this year’s jam-packed bill.
A mixture of genius line-ups from across the wide spectrum of electronic music tastes, mainstream, underground and established sounds alike are held to account for perhaps the most eclectic run of events to bless the concept to date. With Sankeys now catering to Ibiza and beyond, WHP 2013 is sure to stir some notable esteem from this once Mecca-like city of rich clubbing heritage. Tickets go on sale starting July 26th.
