Ministry of Sound resident Nathan C adds to the fuel of his latest Funk Farm compilation with a steadfast remix for British indie newcomers Young Kato. Behind the wheel of the aptly titled “Drink, Dance, Play”, Nathan finds solstice in stripping the original to its basic vocal highlights, enveloping the cocky British pop anthem into a full-bodied explosion of uplifting synths and big room sensibilities. On an otherwise uninspiring tally of remixes, Nathan C once again represents the fine ear for floor-fueling potential that continues to make him one of the more essential advocates of the pop/dance crossover for 2013.
