Slowly but surely they are rising to prominence with heavily supported records and consistent releases via Dim Mak. Their latest production “I Know,” unleashed this week, advances their cause and embodies their unique and flexible sound. Fresh from Mr. Aoki’s imprint, Botnek’s newest work boasts an enlightening builds with a nostalgic vocal sample but quickly takes listeners by surprise with an unforeseen gritty drop. The melodic hook returns and that one-two punch is made enjoyable multiple times throughout, making “I Know” another high quality effort from Botnek who once again fail to dissapoint.
