Chase & Status slate third studio album for October release
With a decade of genre-hopping experience behind them, London’s Chase & Status have set a precedent in British drum & bass and it’s notorious commercial evolution. But after months of patiently waiting and a run of suggestive announcements, the duo have announced that their third studio album, Brand New Machine, is set to be unleashed on October 7 on Casablanca Records. As the follow-up to 2011’s double-platinum selling No More Idols, the album’s lead singles “Lost & Not Found” and “Count On Me” have already set expectations high for this nostalgically charged duo’s return to the full length platform. As one of Europe’s most prolific live dance acts, their radio-friendly edge and vintage rave sensibilities look to be comfortably paired once again for album number three, adding seven-date Rock The Bells tour scaling both North America and Canada to sweeten the deal enroute to the big day. Hit more to hear the first two singles and stay tuned for DA’s forthcoming interview with Chase & Status.
