Mysterious dirtybird regular Friend Within has released a new EP, and this time he’s lucky enough to represent the first body of work for Disclosure’s newly minted Method Records. The EP, entitled The Renegade centers around the title track, which takes its inspiration from Fatboy Slim’s iconic remix of Wildchild’s “Renegade Master,” which takes a page itself from the 1994 track “One For The Trouble” from A.D.O.R. The style Friend Within and Disclosure are known for may be closer to a booty house or garage-tinged feel (respectively), but “The Renegade” is centered around hip-hop vibes.
