Out to prove himself for more than a one hit wonder after the wild and viral success of “Harlem Shake,” Baauer has finally released his follow up production. The collaboration alongside Just Blaze hit Beatport today after circulating the expansive trap sphere for nearly one year. Jay Z’s vocals sampled from “U Don’t Know” (coincidentally produced by Just Blaze) give this animated track its “Higher” title, but the pairing of hip-hop influenced drums and a more tamed breed of trap support the braggadocios shouts, making for one provocative venue-shaker.
