Kaskade describes ‘Atmosphere’ as his ‘most personal record’ to date

Kaskade sat down with Access Hollywood to talk about dance music’s jump into the pop culture conversation and his latest album Atmosphere. Acknowledging that in the last three or four years dance music has grown to the point that the Grammys could no longer ignore it’s presence. “A lot of people are starting to understand the musicality behind it and the Grammys are there now,” Raddon reflects.

His 8th full length album is also his most personal according to the 42 year old producer, who dove back into writing after spending months on a bus for his Freaks of Nature tour.  Citing his hectic touring schedule as the catalyst for creating his most subdued album to date, Kaskade tells Access Hollywood that Atmosphere is “much quieter, more introspective,” than his previous seven albums. “The lyrics are straight from the heart, a little bit different than the previous records […] this one is for sure my most personal record.”
