Despite a hectic Balearic and festival touring schedule this summer, Maceo Plex has still found the time to tease with good tunes. “Going Back” is as sexy as any Ellum release, with brimming bass lines and downbeat drums, Maceo creates an aural environment well-tuned to Maars’s haunting vocal work. Although Maceo sneaked this record into his debut March Boiler Room set a few months back, there’s still no word on a official release from Ellum Audio.
