Man shot at England’s Circo Loco, final day of festival cancelled
Originated in Ibiza, Circo Loco has become one of underground house’s premier events worldwide. This weekend had the movement exported to Birmingham for its first ever UK event, one which was scheduled for two days. Yesterday, on the opening evening, a man was shot in the stomach just outside of The Rainbow Complex venue during a rushing of the entrance. The man was transported to the nearby Queen Elizabeth hospital where it had initially been reported that he was pronounced dead, but later confirmed that he remains in critical condition. The event’s second day, originally slated to host the likes of Jamie Jones and Art Department, has been subsequently cancelled and Circo Loco has issued the following statement:
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have to cancel today’s event. We’ll have more information on tickets & refunds this week.
