When Moguai resurrected his Punx imprint back in June with the release of “PunkOMat,” it was only the beginning of a new era for the multi-talented German DJ-producer. Back in action with his label reborn after a three year sabbatical, Moguai himself offers the sophomore original for the new face to Beatport’s release circuit. Preparing “When I Rock,” his big room attitude appears in a new light compared to recent successes such as “Champs” and “Mammoth,” but more disguised beneath intricate electronica using a technique he’s held close to home for most of his career. Due for an August 29th release, look out for “When I Rock” and a return to roots from the born-again label-head Moguai.
