Mysteryland announces debut American festival at original Woodstock location for May 2014
After exporting Sensation and TomorrowWorld to the United States, ID&T has announced the North American edition of their famed Mysteryland. The festival will be coming a long way from its Netherlands origin, landing at upstate New York’s most historic site — Bethel Woods, home of the original Woodstock of 1969. Mysteryland will be a three-day affair and is slated to take place during Memorial Day Weekend of 2014.
Attendance will be limited to 20,000 fans each day for a genre-spanning event that is slated production value of $10 million. News comes less than a week after it was reported that Insomniac has set sights on Woodstock ’94 grounds, Winston Farms, for next year’s Electric Daisy Carnival — also expected to land on Memorial Day Weekend.
