After petitioning the town board in Saugerties NY to allow Insomniac to host a festival on the grounds of Woodstock ’94, Insominac CEO Pasquale Rotella took to Facebook today to announce that EDC NY would be moving both its date and location. Now scheduled for Memorial Day Weekend 2014, New York’s version of the Electric Daisy Carnival will receive a significant upgrade, taking placing over 3-days with camping and Las Vegas’s owl as the center of attraction.  While an official location has not been set, recent reports would indicate a possible Woodstock home for the Northeast’s Electric Daisy Carnival.

In addition to this news, he also shared that EDC Las Vegas will be receiving a brand new Kinetic Field set up for 2014’s return to the desert.
