Revealing an evolution in his sound, “Puzzle” comes further advanced from Quintino’s previous late night, Dutch house efforts. Covering polar ends of the sonic spectrum, the track’s chugging drumline and stabbing synth shouts are juxtaposed by mystic melodies that transition and drop in perfect time. Composed as a challenge to the status quo of both artists’ studio reputations, “Puzzle” lands appropriately beneath the Doorn Records umbrella.
