Long-serving British house producer Richard Dinsdale is back on track alongside Ministry of Sound resident Tim Cullen, this time representing their own Grin Recordings imprint with a fresh collaborative venture. Between its docile grooves and scattered sample work, “Skank Marvin” is the perfect specimen of ungroomed club fuel with vintage appeal cut from outside the underground comfort zone. By far the most distinct and sluggish offering to bless their fast ascending house imprint, Dinsdale and Cullen opt for quirky over mechanical for a track that is unlikely to go ignored for the remainder of the summer clubbing season.
