Following his massive “Jump!” which had been released last month via Hysteria after dominating the sets of artists such as Knife Party, Mike Hawkins is offering his latest production work as a free download. Taking his hand at The White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army,” Hawkins finds that there’s more to the classic tune than its contagious bassline. Layering intricate drums of his own, the “Timewarp Mix” does just that with a rhythm indicative of nostalgia only bolstered by spurts of jazz-influenced chords.
