Daft Punk’s long-awaited return to live performances was interrupted last night when their appearance on The Colbert Report was abruptly pulled. The cancellation came due to obligations to MTV, revealing that the duo will, in fact, rather be performing at the VMAs next month. While Stephen Colbert couldn’t seem to “Get Lucky,” he saved his Colbchella ’013 with a comedic live rendition of Daft Punk’s summer hit with contributions from A-list celebrities from Matt Damon to Jimmy Fallon.
