The music video for “My Body”, directed by Tatiana Turin, isn’t so much a piece that conveys a coherent narrative as it is a juxtaposition of scenes in dance music’s history, ranging from the gritty underground to the predecessors of the modern superclubs we are familiar with today. Given that, the subdued content of the music video does well to play second fiddle to the music it accompanies. The track revolves around a groovy female vocal and an equally soulful garage bassline. “My Body” is a straight-up old-school cut that harks back to the halcyon days of house music.
