After having his track “Cypher” featured on Eric Prydz Essential Mix, the then unknown Cory Lasser quickly had the spotlight turned towards him and his unique production style. Shunning the status quo and avoiding the get-popular-quick, flavor-of-the-month production aesthetics of many of his peers, Lasser stays true to form on his remix of Alpine’s “Hands.” Developing an enchantingly produced and refreshing take on the indie original, the mix billows forth with 8-bit arpeggios and driven chord progressions and Lasser proves, yet again, that he is no slouch and certainly no sell out.
