Creamfields Beirut cancelled over unsettling security concerns
Following the cancellations of Electric Zoo Day 3 and Electric Adventure, Creamfields Beirut has now followed suit by axing their one day festival that was supposed to take place on September 9th. This announcement was made Friday morning by JK58, the creative agency responsible for hosting Creamfields. While previous festival cancellations were due to health concerns regarding attendees, Creamfields made the decision because they feared the safety of the artists involved. The multi-staged and open festival grounds could have housed up to 15,000 people, however, after the bombings in Ruwaiss (southern suburbs of Beirut) and Tripoli, the ticket sales plummeted.
