For the long overdue follow-up to May’s last original instalment “Power Trip,” Hugo Castellan can be found upholding his name for striking yet beautifully unconventional instalment of high octane club fuel. In a bid to unite 80s esque soundtrack moments with his tight-fisted electro getup, “The Empire Strikes Back” marks a worthy return from one of the more stirring genre advocates to emerge consistently on point where production values are concerned. Star Wars references aside, Darth & Vader maintains his stance as the electro house overlord that Brazil’s burgeoning talent pool has been calling for.
