Deadmau5 combines his musings into 12 minute progressive house odyssey

In many ways, deadmau5 recalls the fictional chocolatier Willy Wonka. For much of the decade, Joel Zimmerman will shut the doors on his productions, reserving his craftsmanship for his own ears. Every now and then, however, Zimmerman will open the pearly, virtual doors of his SoundCloud factory to unveil countless awe-inspiring creations. Such has been in the case for the months of July and August, as deadmau5 has shared nearly 20 different projects. His latest comes in the form of a 12 minute odyssey, entitled “Pets 1 & 2.” Showing off his penchant for arpeggios, the mau5 seamlessly combines his latest musings into a clean progressive house journey with plenty of delightful chord progressions and climaxes.
