Editor’s Spotify Playlist of the Week
We wanted to create another way of expressing ourselves other than writing about our favorite tunes so we decided to feature Spotify playlists comprised of our personal picks. Get to know us a little better by exploring our eclectic taste in dance music.
Hi, my name’s Dan Carter, the British connection in DA’s affairs. My musical life is spent fluttering between consultancy work, copywriting and waxing lyrical for DA, with a few choice hobbies and an affliction for the Old Fashioned (a Bourbon-based delicacy you really must embed into your life) on the side.
My Spotify playlist was an awesome opportunity to retrace the timeline that my love for electronic music has taken over the past decade. There is a heavy focus on such Swedish icons as Steve Angello and Axwell, new age wonders like Sonny Wharton, Arias and Daleri, and a spot of drum & bass for good measure. Here’s hoping that this muddled up playlist hits home all the assorted reasons I was – and still am – driven to write about dance music on a daily basis.
