Avicii is officially one week away from releasing his debut studio album TRUE, which has been thus far headed by the globally acclaimed “Wake Me Up.” While the lead single has opened new horizons and has captured new fans, it seems that its folk influence won’t be the album’s dominating theme. More prevalent is Tim’s use of chords, which more illustrated darker than brighter throughout the 12-tracks, and are best intertwined with Nile Rodgers’ bassline and Adam Lambert’s vocals. As a groovy play on disco “Lay Me Down” is due to be one of the standout tracks on True, and thanks to iTunes, its preview is available now.
