Aside from debuting his Jack U project alongside Skrillex and scoring soundtrack duties for The Hunger Games alongside Sia and The Weeknd, well-dressed trap innovator Diplo has remained a high-end purveyor of the genre’s current lifeblood. Having set expectations high for his impending Revolution EP for his own Mad Decent imprint, the Major Lazor component has premiered the full brunt of the EP ahead of its October 8 release. With four original tracks in tow and two further remixes, the six-track offering collects talents as driven and diverse as Angger Dimas, Travis Porter, Faustix & Imannos, Action Bronson and RiFF RAFF. Dutch producer Boaz van de Beatz and familiar dual nationality outfit TWRK make for the icing on the cake where this highly sprung collective offering is concerned, marking six more reasons to believe that Diplo’s ear for future movements need not be questioned just yet.
