Hardwell becomes youngest ever recipient of DJ Mag Top 100 spot, Tiësto earns KLM’s DJ legend award
Dutch DJ/producer Hardwell has become the youngest ever victor of the DJ Mag Top 100 poll. Knocking national peer Armin Van Buuren to second place, the 25-year old Revealed Recordings head honcho was presented the honor by Giorgio Moroder for the poll’s 20th recurrence. Despite dropping two places, Tiësto receives KLM’s DJ legend award, commemorating years of globetrotting service from the Dutch icon. Revealed label mate and national peer Dyro became the highest new entry of the competition (30). New entries also include Krewella, Diplo, Dillon Francis, Stafford Brothers, Bl3ND, Vicetone and Ummet Ozcan, with Showtek and Myon & Shane 54 re-entering the poll for 2013.
