Kaskade closes his ‘big room, small tour’ Atmosphere Tour

This weekend marked the final round of shows for Kaskade’s Atmosphere Tour, named after his recently released, hit-packed album. Before bringing Atmosphere’s 14 tracks to his first stop in Miami, the Grammy-nominated DJ hyped his “big room, small tour” by hinting that he would be sporting premier and never-before-seen production.

Los Angeles attendees were stunned when not one, but two stages lined the floor area and acts switched back and forth between sets. Fans swarmed back and forth as Late Night Alumni finished with “Empty Streets” and Amtrac appeared at the back stage for a tech house style set.

The crowd erupted when Kaskade opened with his hit single and title track “Atmosphere.” Throughout the night, he played some of his old favorites like “Fire In My New Shoes” and “4 AM” along with new and beloved tracks like “Something Something” and “No One Knows Who We Are,” a tune made all the more magical with the appearance of Lights.

As Ryan Raddon  jammed out throughout his two hour set, his stage began to move around him. Large, curved light panels flipped up and down as they glided closer to the crowd and enormous LED screens slid around the floor in unison with his tunes. Then, Kaskade surprised his enraptured crowd by flitting back and forth between his front and back stage, giving his back of the crowd lingerers the chance to experience the set up close and personal.

Though America’s Best DJ has officially closed his Atmosphere Tour, you can catch him at his current limited engagement at XS Nightclub in Las Vegas and several more stops before the end of the year.
