Laidback Luke has taken to Facebook to announce that his pre-halloween Super You&Me New York City, which was set to take place this Friday, October 25th, has been canceled due to “recent local events.” Although the promoter, RPM Presents, was initially granted sufficient permits to put on its series of Pier of Fear Halloween parties, the City of New York has since rescinded two of those permits. However, tough times do not necessarily mean that the party must be completely canceled. New York has proven time and again, particularly after this year’s Electric Zoo, its resilience. Luke and his posse will instead put on their October 25th show at Pacha, and while this is far from ideal, his dedication to fans has been reiterated through this unfortunate circumstance.
