Nora En Pure – Sweet Melody (Teenage Mutants Remix)
It’s been one hell of a year for Zurich-based easy-stepper turned Helvetic Nerds ambient entity Nora En Pure. Having proven one of the most integral cogs in their docile melodic overhaul for 2013, July’s “Sweet Melody” receives the remix treatment from fast-ascending German tunesmith Teenage Mutants. Still keeping with the tranquil and melodic temperaments of the original, a stern beat and moderate melodic tampering make all the difference in thickening the plot for this Enormous Tunes original of another caliber. The Swiss maestro’s original may have been the real deal, but Teenage Mutants shows that a little studio whit can go a long way in adding an extended shelf life to some of electronic dance music’s more understated anthems.
