Under the guise of Enormous Tunes, Croatia Squad has proven one Switzerland’s most consistent yet confusingly named indie dance duos of 2013. Back to follow-up on their remix duties for Callipo last month with two original cuts, the mysteriously poised outfit make another compelling statement for the genre currently on everyone’s minds. Between “Give It All Away” and the docile “All Alone,” the EP is the epitome of what the genre needs in its lifeblood – upfront production values, infectious melodic properties and that functional focus on the club floor always associated with the label’s promising roster.  The indie dance/nu disco sect has had many a falsely fulfilled idol throughout the year. Reassuringly, Croatia Squad cuts the mustard as an asset still giving us reasons to hope that this peak in the deeper ranks of the European circuit is here to stay.
