If the red grit of the album art provides no indication, “Revolution” is a track that’s supposed to get your attention, and in that sense it does its job quite well. R3hab and Ummet Ozcan’s imprimaturs abound, and while NERVO’s role may seem to some opaque at first blush, it’s clear that the general aura of the track draws in no small part from their involvement (see the musical stylings of “Hold On”). The trio of musicians delivers, and “Revolution” proves to be much more than the sum of its parts. And while festival season might be over, with the sound still going strong, expect to hear the familiar big room sounds ringing through the clubs for the next few months.
