It’s been a titanic year for big room giants Size Records, but the label has shown little sign of loitering in the wake of their landmark 100^th release back in August. Eleven releases down the road and still looking forward, Steve Angello employs Russian duo Hard Rock Sofa and national peer Skidka as he prepares to wrap up a year of reckoning for the label and its global roster of talent. In a year that has seen the label consistently place mechanical drops and high-end synth work at the core of their aural canvas, “Let Me Hear You Scream” manages to buck the trend without so much as a tremor of tedium. True to Angello’s enthusiasm for matching each artists’ own triumphs with his overarching peak time agenda, the track reeks of Hard Rock Sofa’s firm melodic edge whilst inviting one of its more outspoken newcomers to showcase his talent for a worldwide audience. In yet another indicator that Russia should not be written off to its more popular international peers just yet, Size is unlikely to lose any sleep en route to 2014 with club fuel of this caliber on display.
