Skrillex cancels Dog Blood performance at Stereosonic, replaced by GTA
Dog Blood will not be performing at this year’s Stereosonic Festival in Australia due to “unfortunate circumstances” according to Skrillex, who took to his Facebook to announce the unfortunate news. In the duo’s stead, Boys Noize will be performing as himself while GTA will be filling the void left by the superduo on the touring festival’s lineups.
It’s not all bad news, however, Sonny’s reasoning for not attending the festival was in no way attributed to Stereosonic or the OneLove team and that he would be “be spending the rest of this year finishing my new music but will be coming back to do some SKRILLEX shows over New Year’s Eve in a couple weeks and will be spending more time in OZ in ’14. Thanks and really looking forward to seeing you guys soon.”
