Dance music artists show thanks for the holiday
Thanksgiving 2013 may be officially over, but artists from all over the world spent all of yesterday tweeting what they were thankful for this year. Yes, even those who aren’t American and don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in their home countries, such as Chuckie, Dada Life, and Cedric Gervais. Below is a collection of Thanksgiving-themed tweets for an extra dose of turkey-induced candidness.
I’m thankful for sleep
— Nicky Romero (@nickyromero) November 29, 2013
Clearly Nicky needed a nap after all that turkey.
Happy Thanksgiving! Im thankful for you guys and for Twitter & Instagram for keeping me entertained whenever I’m bored.— Antoine (@AN21) November 29, 2013
We’re thankful for you, too, An21. Keep on keeping on.

Porter gets a bit sentimental on Thanksgiving, but that’s what the holidays are for, right?
Happy Thanksgiving to our American #Tritonians!! Grateful for the best damn fans on the planet! Hello Australia!! pic.twitter.com/j4L7PhBSk4 — Tritonal (@Tritonal) November 28, 2013
Tritonal are rightfully grateful for their self-titled fans who often go by the slogan, “Tritonians Unite!”
To be honest, I don’t really need thanksgiving to be thankful because i’m thankful every morning I wake up… — CHUCKIE | DIRTYDUTCH (@djchuckie) November 28, 2013
Chuckie gets it.
Today we give thanks to all our Citizens of Dada Land! — Dada Life (@dadalife) November 28, 2013
Although their show in Miami was recently shut down, Dada Life are still just as dedicated to the “Citizens of Dada Land,” possibly even more so.
So thankful for my friends and all my dogz, all the supporters, @OWSLAOfficial crew , and music — SKREEEELAAXXZZXX (@Skrillex) November 28, 2013
While Sonny’s tweet is pretty generic, we’re still thankful that he bothered to tell us what he’s thankful for this year.
Im thankful for all the Thanksgiving mass texting going on right
— Cedric Gervais (@CedricGervais) November 28, 2013
Cedric was born and raised in France but now that he lives in Miami, not celebrating Thanksgiving would just be…unAmerican.

— Booty Monsta (@Borgore) November 28, 2013
At least he’s honest.

Ryan, lyrical as per usual. He doesn’t need to tell us what he’s thankful for, because telling us through soul/R&B is so much better anyway.
I wanna say I’m super thankful for the loves of my life @majorbaby666 and @tuesdaylockhart and my crew who give me life @maddecent
— Champagne Guapi (@diplo) November 28, 2013
Rightly so, Pentz is first and foremost thankful for his son, Lockett, the mother of his son, and Mad Decent. These are what make Diplo, Diplo…
But mostly I’m thankful for u guys for dealing with my lame humor, bad taste.. my attempts at music and my thinly veiled sarcasm. Love yall
— Champagne Guapi (@diplo) November 28, 2013
…But actually it’s the fans who take precedence. He takes a modest approach with this one.
My last #tbt I’m thankful for my mom, my dad, and my brother (yes I have a dad and he loves the dad joke) http://t.co/qBl7i6I2X3
— DILLON FRANCIS (@DILLONFRANCIS) November 28, 2013
Yesterday, after much speculation, Dillon Francis admitted to having a dad.
