It has been some time since we last saw a collaboration between Arty and Matisse & Sadko, who in 2012 released their first group effort, “Trio.” Over a year and a half later, the three have reunited on Spinnin’ Records release “Riot.” With flawless execution of melodic chord progression, dramatic percussion and biting crescendos, the three producers bring the track to life. Like “Trio,” “Riot” contains an extended opening and relies heavily on devastating progressive synths that lend the melody a big room feel. This time around, however, the trio show what a difference a year can make, as they demonstrate  greater command of their material and utilize a wider array of instrumentals.
