BBC Radio 1 launching weekly 'Residency' show with Steve Angello and Nervo
BBC Radio 1 has more to offer week-to-week than Pete Tong’s regular duties, or slots manned by the likes Zane Lowe and Annie Nightingale. Taking Thursday nights’ Residency broadcast to the next level, BBC will double the doses beginning in January. Kicking off 2014 with an all-star cast, Residency will now occupy airwaves from 9pm-10pm in addition to the usual midnight mix on Thursday night’s. Promising the best in dance music, the revamped radio show will kick off on January 9th with guests Nervo and Steve Angello, followed by a line-up consisting of James Blake, George FitzGerald, and others.
