DA Exclusive: Avicii – Wake Me Up (Remixes II)
The track that’s taken the world by storm since its debut at Ultra Music Festival has yet to slow down. Avicii‘s “Wake Me Up” carried weight throughout the summer both across dance music’s festival season and the world’s popular airwaves. The True lead single had its first remix package delivered this fall with new “Speed” and “Reggae” versions from Tim and now Part 2 is being released on PRMD with themed renditions from Pang! and EDX.
Pang! delivers an appropriately titled “Slow Things Down” mix that serves Aloe Blacc’s vocals with harmonious instrumentals and a mellow aesthetic. EDX’s “Miami Sunset” remix also depicts thematic visuals in sync with its labeling, painting uplifting chords to match a sunset with a drop designed for the crisp night air in South Beach.
