Moroccan born DJ R3HAB and the Bay Area’s own Lucky Date have officially released the original version of their new song, “Rip It Up,” with Protocol Records. The original follows an edit from the Protocol label head himself, Nicky Romero, which is already sitting comfortable in Beatport’s top three. But the version of “Rip It Up” which inspire the chart-topper is of the harder variety, with crisp synths and deep power stabs that’ll surely be a club favorite this New Year’s Eve. While the song is now available for streaming, the official purchase date is set for December 23rd exclusively through Beatport.
