Although complications with the label have stalled the immediate release, The Chainsmokers have previewed their newest remix, “Fix This.” After lending a progressive touch to Mikky Ekko’s “Kids,” the duo once again perfectly utilize a stunning vocal on top of their instrumental take on The Colourist’s tune. The result is an indie-progressive hybrid which, despite all of their outstanding productions, is one of the duo’s most interesting remixes to date. The dance music landscape is stockpiled with young and up-and-coming big room talent, but The Chainsmokers continue to demonstrate that they have much more in store and that 2014 will be a colossal year for the American duo.
