With “Jumangee” on Size Records and a collaboration alongside Steve Angello highlighting their resume during 2013, Swedish duo Wayne & Woods certainly lived up to our expectations as artists to watch this year. To round their year off, the duo has released “Favela” on Cr2 Records. Led by crisp percussion and entrancing melodies which effortlessly progress as the original mix chugs along, the duo craft a worthy follow-up to their last highly-supported production. Although “Favela” is only their second release on Beatport this year, the unique production has set the bar high for next year as 2013 comes to a close.
