Deadmau5 finishes his album: 2 discs, 25 tracks, 2 continuous mixes
After months of anticipation, nearly one hundred SoundCloud previews (not kidding), and countless hints and encrypted messages, deadmau5 has finally finished his seventh studio album. The yet-to-be-named LP contains twenty five tracks… can you say holy shit? In the same vein as previous endeavors, most notably Random Album Title, the album is organized into a seamless, continuous mix (well in this case, two continuous mixes). While we can expect tracks like “Gula,” “Avaritia,” “My Pet Coelacanth,” “Phantoms Can’t Hang” and more, there will undoubtedly be a plethora of polished mau5 productions seeing the light of day for the first time ever. No word on a release date yet, but the album is coming.
