Diplo’s festival anthem ‘Revolution’ gets four-track remix package
Following the October release of Diplo’s latest EP, Revolution, Mad Decent has released a remix package of the EP’s title track. Featuring four remixes by a diverse blend of producers, Diplo’s bouncy, melodic and dynamic tune experiences four different breaths of fresh air. With rework efforts by Run DMT, Sluggers, Panic City, and Paper Diamond, each remix highlights a different element of the original mix while still seamlessly weaving in the original tune’s soft vocal work.
Panic City’s remix breaks into a thumping, big room drop that lies perfectly between the dance floor and the festival stage while Paper Diamond’s remix retains many elements of it’s original counterpart while still popping and sizzling through convoluted dark new synth work. The Sluggers remix takes a similar big room approach, and Run DMT’s remix features hard, grinding synths shrouded in gushing waves of bass. Each remix takes it’s own perspective, creatively twisting Diplo’s arena-rattling hit into four impressive novel productions.
