Hangout Music Festival reveals diverse 2014 lineup
Finding its home in Gulf Shores, Alabama, Hangout Music Festival certainly lives up to its name. Attendees are not only treated to some of the biggest names in music today, but they get to see these acts with their toes in the sand, encompassing a unique vibe that can only be found in this east coast beach town. While the festival is still months away, the Hangout lineup has been revealed and the tickets put on the market. Unsurprisingly, Outkast shines atop the headliners as dates continue to be revealed on their recently-announced 30 stop festival route, and Hangout naturals Jack Johnson and the Black Keys remain comfortably on the Atlantic shores. As per usual, Hangout did its fair share for the south-eastern electronic fans as well, with Pretty Lights, STS9, and Boys Noize appearing amongst the performers while Zedd graces the lineup to add some progressive commercial flavor. Amongst the dozens of acts, Brodinski and heRobust add their harder styles to round out the electronic performers for the festival taking place May 16th – 18th.
