Henry Fong previews new track ‘Stand Up’ with remixes from Milo & Otis, Destructo, and DallasK

After a slew of heavy remix duties and collaborations, Henry Fong is set to return to the release front with the bodacious “Stand Up.” Despite a rather generic big room drop, the track excels through a catchy horn section, which Fong says was inspired by his early days “DJing hip hop at college bars.”

The original version will be accompanied by remixes from Milo & Otis, Destructo, and DallasK. While Milo & Otis lay down an inventive twerk take on “Stand Up” (even sampling Jessie Pinkman), DallasK layers some sharp, syncopated synths for an electro rendition. Ultimately, it is Destructo who offers the the most compelling remix, nestling a smooth bassline alongside smooth percussion for a deeper take on the boisterous track. The Stand Up EP will be released on February 11th on OWSLA.
