The album’s namesake track “Somebody New” returns with James Jacob’s signature feel of pulsating, melodic bass work with a hint of deep, jazzy undertones and introduces vocalist Tiffani Juno. Juno’s eerie, delicate vocal work dances over a quick stepping, twist of tech and deep house influenced synthesis to create a subtly surging soundscape.
