At CES 2014 in Las Vegas, Sennheiser premiered their new line of headphones, which consists of three new state of the art models: the HD6 Mix, HD7 DJ, and the HD8 DJ. The flagship model is the HD8 DJ, which focuses on mid- and low-end frequencies that allow DJs to focus on transients. The HD7 is essentially the more affordable option; think of it as an HD8-lite. The HD6 Mix is more of a studio-focused headphone as it has a flat response and higher impedance. Sennheiser is quickly becoming the standard for sound technology in the dance space, and with this new generation of models, we have a feeling that they just raised the bar.
