Just days after Skrillex hit the studio with Chance the Rapper and MikeWiLLMadeIt, Sonny took to Instagram today to show that he is currently mixing down brand new tracks. Offering a short preview of a presumably to-be-heard Skrillex track, the American producer dances around the studio and gives free advice to aspiring producers.

While this exciting snippet does not provide us with any release date clues, we can be sure that Skrillex is hard at work in the studio to produce enticing new material for his fans. After previewing new tracks such as a remix of “DJ Ease My Mind,” and an original with garage-influenced elements tentatively titled by fans “Take Me With You,” the ex-rocker provides us with concrete evidence that the artist that is Sonny Moore has evolved his sound, but refuses to abandon the time-tested true Skrillex signature. Skrillex’s next project is expected to drop later this year.
