Tommy Trash to kick start Ministry of Sound’s ‘Inspired’ series
Introducing a new compilation series in 2014, Ministry of Sound is looking for artists to tell their stories through sound with the installment of Inspired. First up, Australia’s Tommy Trash will host the inaugural two-disc set. “For me, it was all about the concept that Ministry of Sound came to me with. I really loved the idea of giving my fans an insight into what really influenced and inspired me,” he says on his Inspired kick-off.
“It’s really good to take a step back and look at what music informed the tracks myself and probably quite a lot of my peers make today. I think it’s healthy for people’s understanding of what they’re listening to.”
Composed of 29 tracks, Tommy’s Inspired compilation will feature “Past Inspirations” as disc one and “Present Inspirations” as disc two. Expect the tested-and-proven electro-house producer to weave eras together when the effort is released via Ministry of Sound on March 16th.
