Twoloud and Julian Jordan held varying weight throughout 2014. While the aforementioned protégé of Tiësto made firm alliance with Musical Freedom, Spinnin’s original boy wonder went notably quiet in the wake of TV Noise collaboration “Childish Grandpa.” The silence, it seems, was leading to one loud revival. United for the first time, their boyish stamina is primed for WMC with a track unapologetically geared towards festival action. Where the big room crowds seek elegant construction and sidesplitting energy, “Rockin” ticks all the boxes of a coming of age cut bred for a peak time friendly market. Young exemplars to a class burgeoning at the seams, these boys may be better posed for 2014 than anyone could have anticipated if this union is anything to go by.
