With the strength of a shotgun, Quintino‘s remix of the Yellow Claw hit has blasted onto Beatport. The Dutch breakout took the trap-edged track and turned it into an electro house hit, refreshing Rochelle’s vocals for their 2014 closeup. Slowed down nearly 20 BPM, the new version still manages to pack a punch by going for a hook on top of hi-hats. Leaving the lyrics largely intact, Quintino opted to reconstruct the melody into something more suited for the festival circuit, flipping back and forth between a syncopated synth stomp and light lyrics backing. Though not yet crowd-tested by the producer himself, with March just around the corner the results are sure to come flying in.
